Microbiome Analysis involves comprehensive stool testing to examine your unique profile of gut bacteria. This guides us in devising personalised treatment plans based on the latest research and clinical data.
We advise on foods, prebiotics, probiotics and occasionally other supplements that have been shown to promote positive changes in an individual's gut microbiome. Alongside measuring progress in symptom changes, we offer regular testing to track shifts in bacterial populations.
Our treatment plans are based on the results of advanced microbiome testing, guided by your case history, diet, religious needs and lifestyle, and informed by the latest research and clinical trials. We consider your unique gut bacteria profile and use evidence-based dietary strategies and targeted supplements to support your health.
Diligent and thorough: We analyse your whole microbiome profile, not just a few species highlighted on standard tests, and use the raw data rather than relying on AI recommendations from any testing company.
Practical, individualised and targeted: Our commitment is to start with food-based recommendations and only use targeted supplements as indicated by your test results.
Informed: We focus on carefully building up populations of beneficial bacteria, rather than indiscriminately killing species that are thought to be associated with health problems. We are continuously developing our treatment recommendations using insights from ongoing research and clinical practice.
Progressive and knowledgeable: We are committed to keeping abreast of the latest research and practice, making our treatment recommendations not only evidence-based but also cutting-edge.
Experienced: Each practitioner has completed advanced training in Microbiome Analysis, earning the title Microbiome Analyst, and is registered with a reputable professional body. Viola Sampson launched her Microbiome Analysis practice in 2019 –– before most practitioners had even considered the gut microbiome –– and has trained the team in her approach. Each of us also has personal experience of chronic illness, or supporting loved ones with chronic illness, and between us we have more than 40 years supporting clients through clinical practice.
