We adhere to all laws and procedures relating to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 (equivalent to HIPPA), and will only use your personal data to provide you with the specific service or services you explicitly agree to.
We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as part of this commitment. You will be asked for your consent for us to process your data, when you book an appointment or subscribe to our email lists.
Our booking policy requires more than 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment to avoid paying the full fee.
To secure your booking, invoices must be paid within 30 days, or at least 48 hours before your appointment if that is sooner.
Social media policy
All clients and others are welcome to follow our professional social media profiles. In order to respect your online privacy we don't identify you as a client in comments and we do not accept Friend or Link requests from past or current clients.
Child and vulnerable adult policy
The Microbiome Group practitioners and our clients represent a diversity of identities and characteristics. We have a deep respect for – and celebrate – human diversity, alongside the ecological diversity of the human microbiome. This includes having a personal commitment to antiracism, addressing our own internalised ableism and ageism, as well as an appreciation of neurodiversity and all LGBTQIA+ identities.
In the provision of services, our practitioners will treat all clients fairly and without prejudice and will not discriminate against any group or individual.
We have an expectation that our clients will not harass, discriminate against or intimidate our Associates, and will treat them fairly and with respect.
