As someone who has personally struggled with chronic illness, I empathize with anyone experiencing pain, fatigue, or other symptoms that are preventing them from living their life to the fullest. After I developed chronic pain and other health issues at the age of 12, I spent years trying to figure out what was at the root of these symptoms. When doctors had no answers for me, I began doing my own research, which led me to functional lab testing.
Using stool tests and other tests from specialty laboratories, I finally was able to identify what was making me sick - multiple gastrointestinal infections (H. pylori, numerous parasites, and worms), Lyme Disease, Bartonella, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and more. By implementing dietary changes and using herbs, nutrients, and other natural products, I was able to improve my health.
I truly believe that all health begins in the gut and that to heal the body, we must always start by focusing on the health of the gut. Microbiome analysis allows us to dig deep into what imbalances are occurring in the gut and see how those imbalances are affecting not only the gut, but the entire body. I enjoy partnering with my clients to help them correlate what’s going on in their gut with what’s going on throughout their body and create a step-by-step action plan to assist them in reaching their health goals.
